Berkshire Pigs
Podge has been best of breed or reserve best of breed at all her shows last year, qualifying for the Berkshire championships at Newbury in September.
Trevor is one of our stars for last year, qualifiying for Young Pig of the Year championships at Malvern, and Berkshire championships at Newbury in September.
Podge continued to do well, at our final show last season at Newbury, she won the Supreme championship, and to top that also won the champion of champions. Really excited.
We also had some success with our pork pigs last year, and continued by winning again this year!

Victor Our stock boar is Victor, a homebred Ambassador boar, a very handsome chap, he loves a chat and a back rub. Now 10yrs old now.

Very pleased with my Peter Lad, August 2018 boar. His is so easy to handle. Always produces good sized litters. He is now related to a number of my younger girls, so is out on loan at the moment
Tentrees Namatjira - BJ
He is a homebred boar added to our herd. He is a June 2019 boar, and have had some good litters. A boar from one of the litters has done exceptionally well in the show ring.
Fernlea Orlando - Elton
A new breedline to the herd, a January boar. He has just produced two litters with Cara and Rowan.

Boxwood Lady, Cara -
she had a litter of 10 with our new boar

Boxwood Excelsa, Rowan - she also had a litter of 10 with our new boar Elton for a February litter.
Tentrees Mermaid, Willow - Robyn's young gilt, looking to add to the breeding herd now Robyn has moved to Church Farm. Expecting a Sept litter with Elton.
Tentrees Suzanne - Katie. Homebred, she has turned into something special. She had her 3rd litter with BJ in May
Oldcastle Royal Sapphire -Saffy - We have a new member of the herd, a Royal Sapphire from Wales, to bring a breed line to East Anglia that has been missing. She struggled with her first litter, but has been the perfect mum to a May litter with Elton.
Tentrees Stonebow - Luna. Reserve champion female in the Champions of Champions 2022. She has a another litter of 7 in October with BJ, two gilts and a boar will be part of this years show team. Expecting a litter in September with a new Peter Lad boar - Gareth.
Tentrees Stonebow - Penny one of her gilts was in last years successful show team, winning Supreme Champion at Newbury Show - Podge!. Penny has a litter in February with BJ, three of which are in this years show team.

DOB 15/10/2024 Well grown gilt, ready to go to the boar at the end of the year.
Her sister - Ellie - may also be for sale.
The two older boars have been included in Melton Mowbray Markets Online Pedigree PIg auction - 28 July - 2 Aug.
Weaners
Another litter from Luna arrived in October. Two gilts and a boar are the first of this years show team and are available for sale.

Three more litters arrived during February, from Cara, Rowan and Penny; and two litters in May from Katie and Saffy - these are now all resrved. Next two litters due in Sept.

We have never had any problem with raising boars for meat if they are not mixed in with the gilts, in fact they tend to be bigger and leaner.
